Mt. Yonah Book Exchange is White County's only full-service book store, and it is now under new ownership. The store will re-open on or before March 1, 2011, at which time we will carry pre-owned books of all types in categories such as:

With over 15,000 books in stock, we can practically guarantee a great read for everyone, ages 1 to 101. Books are priced at 40% or more off of their cover prices, so you can always be assured of finding a good bargain at the store.

We always accept books purchased at Mt. Yonah Book Exchange back for trade credit, which you can use to offset future purchases. Books not purchased at the store are usually also accepted for trade credit, depending on condition and store need. Click here to review our trade policies.

We strive to treat our customers to a fun and relaxing shopping experience by offering a complimentary coffee bar, a children's section with child-sized furniture, a comfortable, cozy and well-lit reading room and a loyalty program that enables our customers to earn free books. Our objective has been to create a space where it is fun and relaxing to browse, enjoy a hot cup of coffee and shop.
